Team Vitality signs UNFAKE and Kovaci to VALORANT Roster

Time: 2025-06-16 19:00 (UTC)

French esports organization Team Vitality has officially signed Bartosz "UNFAKE" Bernacki and Blendi "kovaQ" Kovaci to its VALORANT roster. The announcement was made via the club’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Two players have departed from the main lineup: Saif "Sayf" Jibraeel, who had been with the team for nearly two years and helped Vitality qualify for VALORANT Champions 2024 and VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025 (where they finished fourth), and Clément "CyvOph" Millard, who joined the team just three months ago. Initially, the organization had no plans to replace CyvOph, but after several trials, they decided to make a change. He only played for the club at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1 and during the EWC 2025 qualifiers.

The new signings — UNFAKE and kovaQ — come from the tier-2 scene. While neither has tier-1 experience, both have dedicated years of effort to reach this opportunity in the Valorant Champions Tour franchised league. kovaQ most recently played for ALTERNATE aTTaX , while UNFAKE was part of Joblife .

The next and potentially final event of 2025 for Team Vitality will be VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, where they will compete alongside nine other European teams for a $250,000 prize pool, VCT points, and two slots at Champions 2025, the biggest tournament of the year.
