The group stage of Masters Toronto has come to an end, and although the playoffs are still ahead, we can now take a brief look at the tournament's results. Particular attention should be paid to the maps chosen by the professional teams and how the ratio of wins and losses changes for different sides of the game.

Map statistics
During the group stage, teams played on a total of 7 different maps that are currently available in rotation: Sunset , Split, Pearl, Lotus, Icebox, Haven, and Ascent. Among them, the most popular at the moment is Sunset , which was selected 4 times and also selected once as a decider. All map statistics and tournament news can be found at the link.

The least popular map was Ascent, which was selected only twice. Interestingly, on most maps, professional teams won on the attacking side. Only on Sunset , the defense side's win rate is 53% against 47%, and on Haven, it is 50% to 50%. On all other maps, the attacking side always prevails.

Remember that at the beginning of the match, teams select and block maps. If the match is bo3 or bo5, the last map is selected as the disayer from the ones remaining after the series of selections and blocks.
