G2 Esports and Sentinels closed the July 25 matchday at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2 with victories over 2GAME Esports and FURIA. The losing teams now have two defeats each and are in the elimination zone of the tournament.
G2 Esports vs 2GAME Esports
G2 Esports beat 2GAME Esports with a score of 2:0 (Ascent 13:8, Haven 13:5), with Jonah “JonahP” Pulice crowned the MVP of the match. He racked up 38 kills over two maps, posting impressive ADR (164) and ACS (259) stats. His performance was 41% better than his recent match average.
Sentinels vs FURIA
Sentinels were even more confident and prepared than G2 Esports in the first match of the day. FURIA managed to win only two rounds across two maps and lost the match 0:2 (Sunset 4:13, Icebox 0:13). Arthur “tuyz” Vieira earned a unique achievement — becoming the first VCT player to both win and lose a match 13:0 (his win was in April 2023, when he defeated EG playing for LOUD on Pearl). The best player of the match was Zachary “zekken” Patrone, with 35 kills, 189 ADR, and 314 ACS.
