Team Heretics and Team Liquid claimed victories over Gentle Mates and Navi , respectively, during the group stage of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2. These wins mark the second for both teams, temporarily putting them at the top of their respective groups.

Team Liquid vs Navi
Team Liquid cruised past Navi with a dominant 2-0 scoreline. Across two maps, Navi managed to secure just 11 rounds. The match MVP was Keiko , who posted 39 kills, an average ADR of 172, and an ACS of 274. His performance was approximately 24% better than his recent average. 

Team Heretics vs Gentle Mates
The second match was a stark contrast to the first. Contrary to expectations, it was a hard-fought battle, with the first two maps going to overtime and each team taking one. The decisive third map, Bind, went in favor of Team Heretics , securing them a 2-1 series win. 

VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 is being held from July 16 to September 1 in Germany . The tournament features 12 teams from the EMEA region. The event has a prize pool of $250,000, along with VCT points and two slots for VALORANT Champions 2025.
