Weibo Gaming to Face Nongshim RedForce and Dplus KIA to Clash with BNK FEARX in Asia Invitational 2025 Playoffs

The group stage of the Asia Invitational 2025 has concluded: all participants for the playoff stage have been determined. 

BNK FEARX  and  Dplus KIA  secured victories in their groups and will start their journey from the upper bracket.  Nongshim RedForce  and  Weibo Gaming  also advanced, while  Vikings Esports  and  JD Gaming  ended their run.

BNK FEARX vs Vikings Esports

The debut match of Group B ended with a convincing victory for BNK FEARX . The team dominated on both maps, with  Diable  as the marksman becoming the MVP of the series, showcasing high damage and flawless positioning.

Dplus KIA vs GAM Esports

In the second series of the day, Dplus KIA left no chance for  GAM Esports ShowMaker  played a key role, confidently controlling the mid lane and dictating the pace of the entire game. The victory secured the Korean team first place in Group A.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs Nongshim RedForce

The final match of the game day between  Ninjas in Pyjamas  and Nongshim RedForce was under the control of Nongshim RedForce Jiwoo  shone in the role of the marksman, securing a series of decisive kills in both matches and deservedly earning the title of MVP of the match.

Upcoming Playoff Matches of Asia Invitational 2025

The team seedings for the playoff stage have already been determined. Matches will begin on October 10. In the first round of the upper bracket:

  • Weibo Gaming vs. Nongshim RedForce  
  • BNK FEARX vs. Dplus KIA  

The winners of these matches will face off in the upper bracket semifinals, while the losers will continue their journey through the lower bracket. Lower bracket matches will take place on October 11, and the grand final will be held on October 12. All playoff matches will be in a best-of-3 format, except for the final, which will be Bo5.

The Asia Invitational 2025 is being held online from October 6 to October 12. Eight top teams from Asia and the Pacific region are competing for a prize pool of $210,689.
