Rumors: 100 Thieves were interested in FUT Esports players

Time: 2025-12-26 18:00 (UTC)

The American organization  100 Thieves  showed interest in  FUT Esports  players, but ultimately received rejections to their buyout offers.

This information was shared by former professional coach Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović.

In a new episode of Last Free Nation Counter-Strike, where Aleksandar “kassad” Trifunović was one of the guests, it was revealed that 100 Thieves were interested in two players from the Turkish organization FUT Esports — Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko and Džiugas “dziugss” Steponavičius — but were ultimately turned down. An additional interesting detail was a clause in their contracts stating that no more than two players can be bought out from the team.

100 Thieves recently returned to the Counter-Strike 2 scene and are trying to build the most competitive roster possible, but for now the active player in the lineup remains Håvard “rain” Nygaard, who serves as the main star and team captain.
