According to Taiwanese media reports, Toyz, the mid-lane player of the S2 championship team, had his "drug trafficking case" appeal upheld and was sentenced to four years and two months in prison without the possibility of probation.

Popular internet celebrity " Toyz " Liu Weijian was convicted in the first instance of selling marijuana cartridges and was sentenced to four years and two months in prison. From May to September 2021, the police confiscated a number of large and small drug dealers in the central region and seized a total of 200 marijuana cartridges. After tracing the origins, it was believed that Liu Weijian (31 years old) was a major suspect. He was arrested on September 28 of that year and his detention was approved by the court. After being detained for two months, the court determined that Liu had handed over the drugs and confessed to the crime, and ruled that he had to pay a bail of 1.5 million yuan.

In the first instance, Liu Weijian admitted to the crime and handed over the drugs, and was sentenced to four years and two months in prison for six drug-related offenses. The case was appealed, and Liu Weijian did not dispute the facts of the crime, but believed that the sentence in the first instance was too heavy. He presented dozens of thank-you letters for participating in public welfare activities and mentioned the motive for the crime, which was "not for profit, but to help a friend." In the second instance, it was found that Liu Weijian had purchased up to 500 second-level drugs, at a cost of 600,000 yuan, and had joint transportation and sale of second-level drugs with other defendants in the same case. Liu's involvement in the crime was not light, and the sentence had already exceeded the period for probation. Therefore, the appeal was rejected and the first-instance ruling was upheld.

In the case of the appeal, the court found that there were no errors in the second-instance ruling in terms of the facts and the use of the law, and the sentencing was appropriate. The appeal was dismissed and the case was finalized. Liu Weijian was sentenced to four years and two months in prison, and his actual sentence will be reduced by the days of detention, observation, and reformation.
