Today, a message appeared on EDward Gaming 's official Weibo account. In the announcement, the team welcomes the new player and states that his nickname will now be zjc , instead of hfmi0dzjc9z7 .

There are currently 7 players on the EDward Gaming roster, so it is unknown who zjc will replace in the starting lineup, but we will likely find out before the start of VCT China Stage 2.

zjc 's career
Zhang “ zjc ” Juncheng is a 21-year-old Chinese player who made his debut on the professional Valorant scene back in 2021. In early 2024, he joined TYLOO and began competing in VCT China. However, he failed to achieve any notable results, and between January 2024 and May 2025, he and his team did not qualify for any international events. Regional tournaments in China usually ended with 5th-6th place finishes or lower.

In a week, EDward Gaming will begin its performance at VCT China Stage 2, where it will compete for a slot at Valorant Champions 2025 and a prize pool of $250,000.
