Passion UA Players Comment on CS2 Roster Disbandment

Time: 2025-08-15 13:30 (UTC)

After the official announcement of the disbandment of the Counter-Strike 2 roster, players from Passion UA shared their thoughts and emotions regarding this decision. The comments were published on social media, highlighting both the reasons for this move and the players' feelings about the period they experienced.

Woro2k: "0 synergy, 0 results, 0 enjoyment"
Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk explained that the reasons for the disbandment lay in the lack of team interaction and a unified vision of the game:

Hi everyone, I've received a bunch of messages asking what happened and everything else, so I'll write a small post.
– 0 synergy

– 0 results

– 0 enjoyment for almost everyone from the game

– Everyone has a different vision of the game and the formula for victory.

Such a result is not acceptable for anyone, neither for us as players nor for the organization.

We tried our best to change and improve things, but it didn't quite work out for us.

I think this is the right choice for both the organization and the players, so wish everyone good luck!

I'm grateful to all the guys for this time, I love them all and wish them the fulfillment of all their dreams and goals!

Also, thanks to the organization for this time and all the staff!

A new chapter begins for me, I'm currently looking for a new team, and I'm very curious about what lies ahead!

jackasmo: "My two-year story has ended"
Mykyta "jackasmo" Skyba summarized two years of playing under the Passion UA tag and thanked everyone he worked with:

And that's it, my two-year story under this tag has ended. First of all, I want to sincerely thank everyone who believed in me, all the staff: Artemiis, Zelimkhan, Oleksandr, Edik Yuz (he's like a father) and others, in all the rosters I was in, every player, all incredible people and individuals with whom it was only a pleasure to win/lose and gain experience.

Of course, it was easier with some and harder with others, but I can say that during this time I have changed a lot as a person and a player, and I think for the better, so everything that happens is for the best.

I want to wish all the guys (men) we spent the last 3 months with (a bit more with some) success and good luck, they deserve it.

I especially want to thank Tiaan (T.s) — a very positive and bright person and a great professional, it was very interesting to work with him because it felt like we were from different universes, but we still found common ground, and that's really cool. I hope we'll cross paths again.

And for those who care about me, I can say that you don't need to worry, a new stage in my life is beginning, and it will be just as good

DemQQ: "Time for a reset"
Serhii "DemQQ" Demchenko announced that he will use this period for personal rest and preparation for the upcoming transfer window:

Time for a reset. I'll spend it on myself, as no team changes will happen before the major. And during the transfer window, I'll definitely consider something.
In any case, I'm already looking for a new home.

I want to thank my teammates for their efforts, but unfortunately, it didn't meet expectations. I also want to thank the Passion UA organization for providing all the opportunities and even a bit more, and wish them luck in their new chapter.

I'm not saying goodbye to you, I plan to continue streaming, but I want to introduce a new format. I'll try streaming from 2 PM. Thanks to everyone

Topa: "No. This is not a dream"
Oleksii "Topa" Topchiienko expressed his emotions briefly but emotionally:

NO.
This is not a dream.

I want to shout about it to everyone.

What's next?
Passion UA has not officially commented on future plans, but rumors suggest the club is already working on forming a new roster with players from Complexity, and former players may already be negotiating with other organizations. Some of them, like Woro2k and DemQQ, are actively seeking new teams, while others might take a career break.
