Ukrainian organization Passion UA is preparing one of the most notable deals of this offseason in the world of CS2 . According to HLTV, the club is in the final stages of negotiations with Complexity to acquire four key players from the North American roster. If an agreement is reached, official confirmation is expected in the coming days.

Four Americans and Ukrainian reinforcement
At the heart of the deal is a quartet of experienced players:

Johnny “JT” Theodosiou — captain and tactical mastermind of the team
Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli — Norwegian sniper
Michael “Grim” Wince — one of the most consistent riflers on Complexity
Nick “nicx” Lee — a promising talent who quickly gained momentum on the pro scene
The fifth spot on the roster will be filled by Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol. This Ukrainian player was recently moved to the bench at Passion UA along with two other players — DemQQ and JACKASMO — as part of a major roster shakeup.

American region with a Ukrainian accent
Despite Kvem's arrival, the team will remain assigned to the Americas region in the VRS ranking system. This is because the region is determined by the player with the lowest regional priority in the lineup, which in this case is JT.

Interestingly, the new lineup will once again reunite the players with coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen. The South African coach worked with them at Complexity for over three years, until his departure in March. After that, the organization never found a permanent coach, limiting itself to temporary appointments — Eric “adreN” Hoag and later Torbjørn “mithR” Nyborg.

What lies ahead for Complexity
If the transfer goes through, Complexity will still have to decide on its future participation in CS2 . The club has been looking for buyers for the roster for some time, but has remained active in tournaments. At the time of the rumors, the team is ranked 21st in the VRS world rankings and 4th in the Americas region.
