The third and final stage of the VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 qualifiers in the Pacific region is coming to an end. Today, two matches were played in the upper bracket semifinals, as a result of which we learned the names of the teams that advanced to the decisive round.
DRX vs. TALON
The first match was between DRX and TALON. Despite the fact that the first team was the favorite, the match was not so easy for them. On the first map, Bind, DRX won with a score of 13:11, but on their choice, Haven, TALON redeemed themselves and defeated their opponents with a score of 13:9. The outcome of the match was decided on Lotus, where TALON unexpectedly won 13:7, advancing to the final.
Paper Rex vs. T1
In the second match, spectators were treated to a real Masters winners' derby. T1 , who became the champions of Masters Bangkok 2025, faced Paper Rex , who won Masters Toronto 2025. But there was no exciting battle, as Paper Rex won 13:8 on Sunset and then easily won 13:6 on Bind.
As a result of the matches, Paper Rex and TALON advance to the final, where they will face each other on August 17 for a slot in the grand final and an invitation to Valorant Champions 2025. T1 and DRX , in turn, fall into the lower bracket, where on August 16 they will fight with other teams for the right to continue their journey in the tournament.
VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 is taking place from July 15 to August 31 in South Korea. Twelve teams are competing for a prize pool of $250,000 and two slots at VALORANT Champions 2025.
